Scrum Master (English)

The Scrum Master facilitates Scrum teams and introduces Scrum practices within organizations. They possess an in-depth understanding of the Scrum methodology and assist others in applying it effectively. Acting as a coach, the Scrum Master operates within the Scrum framework to support Scrum Teams.

The role involves guiding teams and organizations in adopting agile practices based on the Scrum method. The Scrum Master often takes on multiple roles, including consultant, teacher, mentor, coach, change manager, and other necessary positions.

The leadership style adopted by a Scrum Master is that of a servant leader.

PSM-I Exam Voucher from Scrum.org
This training allows you to take the Scrum Master certification exam. To obtain the recognized PSM-I certification from Scrum.org, you can purchase an exam voucher for an additional €200 (excluding VAT). The Scrum Master course exam itself is free, along with any retakes.

Structure of the Scrum Master Course

The Scrum Master course comprises a training day with a trainer and a group of participants. During this day, the foundational concepts of Scrum are covered and practiced, providing a thorough understanding of Scrum and the role of a Scrum Master. This equips participants to kick-start their Scrum projects. Additionally, there is an optional online component with further study materials and exam preparation.

The additional online component is an e-learning course lasting approximately 8-12 hours. It prepares participants step-by-step for the official Scrum Master PSM-I exam from Scrum.org. The course is structured to present the material through short videos, texts, and online exercises. Numerous practice exams with sample questions are provided to help you prepare thoroughly for the Scrum.org exam.

Upon completing the e-learning portion, you will be well-prepared for the Scrum.org exam. Initially, you will receive our own Scrum Master certificate. If you wish to earn the official Scrum Master PSM-1 certificate, you can purchase an exam voucher for a single exam attempt. If you do not pass the exam on the first attempt, any subsequent attempts will be at your own expense. However, we strive to ensure you are as prepared as possible for the exam. The online module can be completed at your own pace within a year.
