Description
This individual Dutch (NT2) course will help you communicate more fluently and confidently in Dutch in 11 weeks. This course focuses on using the language in business situations.

As an expat or foreign speaker in the Netherlands, learning Dutch is a valuable investment. You will feel at home more quickly and communicate more easily with Dutch colleagues. Inthis Dutch for non-native speakers (NT2) course, you will learn the language using our onlineplatform. The course consists of various business topics that deal with everyday life andcommunication in the workplace, including relevant grammar and vocabulary. There is a strong focus on learning applicable and practical language skills that you can put to immediate use.

Participants profile
For anyone using Dutch in a business context. This course is available for starting level A0 up to and including B1-. We do an intake beforehand to gauge your level.

Learning goals
We work on bridging the fluency gap. For example, say you were in a meeting and you
wanted to suggest something but haven’t mastered Dutch well enough to explain your idea fully, which of course is a real shame! This training helps you to communicate more fluently and confidently in Dutch.

Method
This course combines two forms of learning:

• Lessons with a trainer (21 hours). Lessons take place online, at our location or in-company.
• E-learning (12 hours): varied assignments on our online platform, at your own pace.

Skills covered: listening, reading
To a lesser extent: speaking skills (though this is done in the virtual classroom)
Not covered: writing

Program
The course consists of various topics that address everyday life and communication in the
workplace, including relevant grammar and vocabulary. Practice-oriented exercises are
central.

What can you expect from this 11-week course?
Workload indication: 3 to 3.5 hours per week.

• 20 hours (10x2 hours) (virtual) sessions one-on-one with a trainer
• E-learning
• Extended post-course (after the training course, 6 months access to the platform including additional exercises and webinars)
• Level-based final test
