PLACEMENT TEST

You will receive the access code for our placement test by email, at the latest, approx. 3 weeks before the course starts. The access remains open for max. 10 days. If you register less than 3 weeks before the course starts, we kindly ask you to take the test immediately. Completion of the test is a prerequisite for your participation in our course.

COURSE FORMAT

Face-to-face classroom courses at Berlin Goethe-Institut

SCOPE
50 UI (UI = 45-minute unit of intruction)
10 days of lessons, 5 UE per day

PROCEDURE
Monday to Friday, depending on language level:

A1 –B1: 8.30am-1.00pm*
B2-C1: 1.30pm-6.00pm

*B1 in June, July, August: 1:30-6:00 pm

Please note that one language level is not completed in one course.

Please note: Minimum class size and placement test
Naturally it may happen that a course cannot take place at the institute because the minimum class size of 9 participants is not reached. In that case we will make every effort to offer you an alternative well in advance. If you do not accept the alternative, all payments you have made will be refunded without delay. Please note the following rules on the need to complete a placement test. To place you in a class, we will send you a placement test after you book your course. You will have 10 days to complete and return the test.
Please note that the timely completion and return of the placement test is a mandatory prerequisite for attending the course.
