TOGAF Foundation Certified Combined Course Description

During the TOGAF Foundation Certified Combined training you will treat both the material of the TOGAF Foundation Level 1 and the material of the TOGAF Certified Level 2 training. If you already have the TOGAF Foundation certificate, you can only follow the TOGAF Certified training!

The TOGAF version that we are currently providing is version 9.2 and this is also the last one to be released.

The Open Group Architecture Framework, simply called TOGAF®, is an open and vendor-independent method for developing and managing Enterprise Architectures. TOGAF 9.1 is built around the process model (the core of TOGAF) with supporting concepts, these core and concepts are;

  • Architecture Development Method - The core of TOGAF that describes the life-cycle of an architecture in phases and process steps;
  • Enterprise Capability Framework - Describes the organizational aspects of the architecture lifecycle such as; control, governance and organizational possibilities in the field of people and technology.
  • ADM Guidelines & Techniques - Supporting the ADM and describing specific techniques and manuals that can be applied within or about the ADM.
  • Enterprise Continuum & Tools - Describes the internal administration of the architecture assets, such as the structure and setup and management of an architecture repository. It is important here to create an architectural landscape, which in turn describes the context of agreements and methods.
  • TOGAF Reference Models - Describes the structure and application of the 2 reference models of TOGAF, namely; Technical Reference Model (TRM) and Integrated Information Infrastructure Reference Model (III-RM).
  • Architecture Content Framework - Describes the deliverables generated from the ADM. A deliverable is a formal outcome of a step or phase and consists of building blocks and artifacts.

TOGAF Foundation Certified Combined target audience

  • Architects and specialists who are involved in a form of Enterprise Architecture, such as; business, application, data, technology, management and security architecture.
  • Managers in the role of Project-, Operational- and Senior-Manager.

TOGAF Foundation Certified Combined prior knowledge

Affinity with (Enterprise) Architecture is recommended in order to better consume the information provided.

TOGAF Foundation Certified Combined course duration

The training lasts 4 days and consists of 2 consecutive days of TOGAF Foundation training and 2 consecutive days of TOGAF Certified training. Any exams will be taken separately from the training at a time and location chosen by you via Open Group. The exam vouchers can be provided by D-ICT Solutions.
