This e-learning is intended for a broad professional audience who want to get an accessible introduction to artificial intelligence. No technical background is required: the programme explains the fundamentals without complex mathematics or programming knowledge.

This learning journey provides a clear overview of the technologies and techniques behind modern AI applications, such as expert systems and image and speech recognition. You will learn what AI is, which core techniques are used, and how these translate into practical applications, including numerical models, classification, chatbots, speech and text processing, GPT models, and expert systems.

The programme is accredited at BCS Essentials level and prepares you for the EXIN examination. After completion, you can progress to follow-up pathways such as AI Foundation, Cognitive Augmentation, or Data Driven Business Leadership.

After completing the Essentials, you can further deepen your knowledge by following AI Foundation, Generative AI and Prompting, or AI Ethics. We are happy to help you design your learning pathway based on your interests and needs.

This training is an 8-hour e-learning. It can also be followed as a blended programme, where you combine the e-learning with an additional one-day classroom session.
