Operations and Revenue Management

This course, aimed at professionals with an academic background in business administration, builds advanced competences with respect to the core value creating functions of businesses and organizations. It covers manufacturing and service operations management as well as revenue management. Participants are made familiar with the key issues in revenue (or yield) management and learn to optimize pricing and supply strategies in service and perishable goods manufacturing. Furthermore, they learn to analyze and resolve strategic
issues of operations management based on cases taken from service and manufacturing industries. Topics include strategic performance measurement and alignment, capacity management, technology management, supplier and customer relationship management, organization, and improvement in operations.
