What is 5miles?
5miles is a new online training platform that helps you improve your data, analytical and Power BI skills in an innovative and inspiring way. Using a micro-learning approach, 5miles enables you to learn something new every day in just 5 minutes, and gives you the insights you need to work faster, and smarter, in Power BI.

How does it work?
Each day you will receive an email with a personal challenge. Do you know the answer? Want to find out what it is? We offer you a selection of different approaches, and then it’s up to you to find the right one, using Power BI to test the various solutions. This helps you to not only discover new functionalities and faster alternatives, but also how to use and apply them to your own work.

Who is it for?
It’s for everyone who wants to improve their Power BI skills. The training automatically adapts to your skill level, whether you’re a beginner or have some experience. At the moment, we have 70 challenges available in English. In the coming months, we will further expand the course library.

How do I get started?
Just click the signup button on this page. After the internal approval, your account will be activated so that you can take on your first challenge right away.

What is the training period?
You get 1 year of full access to the 5miles online learning platform. Besides Power BI, you can also train your Excel, VBA, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook skills. In addition, you get everlasting access to your archive with reference materials of completed challenges. In this way, you can always retrieve information later.
