A workflow with a wow-factor!
Kanban is a way to better organize processes. Kanban prescribes a few steps, such as visualizing the workflow, managing the to-do list (where the amount of Work in Progress is decisive) in a totally new way, and making clear agreements about how to work together as a team. This KMP I training, including Kanban University certificate, provides a good foundation for starting with Kanban or improving your current Kanban.

This Kanban (KMP I) training is perfect for
This training starts with an introduction to Kanban, which is why specific prior knowledge is not necessary. The training is perfect for Business Professionals, Managers and Developers. Are you looking for a way to improve your planning and deliver on time? Do you want your team to feel they are 'in control' instead of responding to ad-hoc requests? Then this training is perfect for you (and your team).
What will you learn during the Kanban System Design (KMP I) training?
You will learn how to design a Kanban system and how to communicate this new way of working to others. We discuss what Flow, Push, Pull and Work in Progress mean in a Kanban context. Many teams still work in a 'push' way, but Kanban promotes a 'pull' way of working. Together we gain hands-on experience in visualizing work with a Kanban wall (full of Post-its!), measuring and managing the flow with control cards and flow charts. Because we understand that change is not always easy, we also offer you some change management skills and teach you how to deal with resistance. Last but not least, you will also learn how to multitask and prioritize.
Program
- What is Kanban: we start with the basics of Kanban.
- Work in Progress: what does Work in Progress mean within Kanban?
- From push to pull: how do you go from push to pull?
- Measuring and managing the workflow: working with control cards and flow charts.
- Change management: some skills for a better adoption of Kanban.
