It encourages you to step outside of your comfort zone, in order to have experiences that change your life effectively. Furthermore its a process to find out and overcome internal barriers, unleash hidden potential and increase the personal performance. Coaching makes your “blind spot” visible and helps you to experience that change can be achieved from within. It helps to discover creativity in your own management style, understand and communicate in a more authentic way and thus reach your goals more efficiently. Basic coaching tools The basic tools used match the national and international standards that are proposed by the ICF and the DVNLP. Through continuous yearly educational programms and my work experience as a coach for 8 years I have further developed the tools and created new ones that fit to matrix organisations in change processes. Amongst those tools are: Mindset & behaviour shift tools and creativity techniques (Walt-Disney Strategy, Mapping), Personal SWOT, Barrett Value Assessment, The Work and several Communication tools, etc. Almost important within a coaching process is the openness of the coachee towards a transformational shift in mindset, heart and behaviour. Experiences in coaching Since I started coaching in 2006 I have had clients from all different management levels: Employees, team leaders, area managers, country managers, plant managers, board members and company owners (SME). I coached several executives who worked in matrix organisations, private owned companies with lean structures as well as international corporates and enterprises. Examplary coaching projects: Case 1: Implementation of a second management.Over the course of one and a half years I coached the board, as well as the whole leadership team. The coaching included team coaching sessions, personal insight workshops as well as individual leadership coachings in order to secure continuous performance and growth of people and the entire organization. Case 2: A process to transform the values of the corporate company culture. With five plants throughout Germany and more than 2000 employees involved in the overall process, we designed and accompanied the complete value change process while the entire organization went through a reorganization process– including closing down a plant and reducing the staff. From team coaching to personal insight workshops, including the top management team, we coached the employees over the course of 10 months. Case 3: Coaching of the company owner throughout a complete change of organization with regards to defining a new organization, restructuring internal processes (e.g. recruitment) and implementing the changes.
