SAFe® Product Owner / Manager (POPM) Training Live-Online (English / Deutsch)

The SAFe® Product Owner/Manager (POPM) training is designed to develop the necessary competencies for individuals to act as SAFe® 5 Product Owners/Product Managers and drive value streams in a Lean Enterprise. In this two-day course, participants gain a deep understanding of their role within Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and how value is delivered through the Program Increment.

Participants learn to apply Lean thinking to break Epics into Features and Stories. They gain practical examples of how to refine Features and Stories, manage Program and Team backlogs, and plan and execute Iterations and Program Increments. They also learn how Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps culture contribute to continuously improving ART performance.

The training covers the following learning objectives:

1. Applying SAFe® in the Lean Enterprise
2. Relating a Lean-Agile mindset to the roles of Product Owner and Product Manager
3. Collaborating with Lean Portfolio Management
4. Continuously exploring customer needs
5. Executing the Program Increment
6. Defining responsibilities and roles for Product Owners and Product Managers
7. Creating a Product Owner and Product Manager action plan

By mastering these skills, participants can effectively apply SAFe® practices within their own business context and realize the value of SAFe®. The SAFe® principles provide a foundation for SAFe® practices, and understanding these principles helps individuals apply SAFe® practices in unique circumstances and maintain a focus on achieving the "shortest sustainable lead time with the best quality and value for people and society."
