The INFOMAPS Procedure: Creating SAS Information Maps in Batch Processes

This e-lecture introduces INFOMAPS procedure code used to create a SAS Information Map on one or more relational tables in a batch process. The code for the procedure is detailed, including the required login arguments for the SAS Metadata Server, the statements to write to the SAS Metadata Server, and the statements that control the data items included in the SAS Information Map. This e-lecture also explores including filters and folders and defining the conditions for joining multiple tables. To use an information map in a batch process, the SAS Information Maps LIBNAME Engine is used to access the data via the map.
