- 23 June 2025: The EU postponed trilogue negotiations and the European Commission indicated it may withdraw the proposed Directive aimed at enforcing scientific substantiation and third-party verification of green claims – due to concerns about overburdening micro-enterprises
- 27 March 2026: Deadline for Member States to implement the Empowering Consumer Directive (EU) 2024/825
